The streamlined silhouette of Claremont looks great in both classic and contemporary homes. Use on either side of a bathroom mirror, or to illuminate artwork or architectural features.

The fine porcelain shade provides a warm, atmospheric glow with absolutely no glare.

Bronze is our boldest finish, but it isn’t shiny or bright, so it has a subtle side to it too. It’s a deep matt brown colour that’s almost black in some lights.

Beautiful yet flawed

Beautiful looking fixture, with great pride placed into the design, packaging, and materials.

However, there’s one large oversight. The inner glass bulb cover is extremely fragile and has no torque limiting to stop it, and its inner bushing, breaking on insertion. It takes the gentlest over-tightening to shatter, and there’s no indication of a good seal. There must have been a better design to prevent over-tightening whilst still maintaining a good seal, and thermal transfer.

Whilst the idea of “installation manual” free packaging is nice. The customer ultimately isn’t made immediately aware of safety concerns like this, as EU/UK product safety directives would hope. A good compromise would be using the packaging itself to help identity critical warnings, or supply one printed manual per order.
