Please do touch

We explore all that our flagship store in Paris has to offer.

Our websites make it easy for our customers to shop with us directly, and that means they get the very best prices and benefit from our on-hand expertise. Plenty of pluses, then.

Yet, after the success of our website launches in countries like France, Belgium and Germany, we decided we wanted to put down some physical roots too.

And where better to do it than in one of Europe’s most renowned design capitals?
Our Paris store has given us the opportunity and space to bring our collections tangibly to life. Switches and sockets, lighting (always aglow – an essential detail) and hardware designs span the walls in effortless and inspirational harmony.

They say that seeing is believing, but we say feeling is just as important. And our store gives you the chance to do just that.

There are no rules about not touching here – in fact, we actively encourage it.
Meet Margaux

And now, let us introduce you to our store manager, Margaux…
Margaux, you've been at the heart of our Paris store for over a year now. What’ve you enjoyed most?
Being a stone’s throw from the centre of Saint Germain – an area that’s renowned for its focus on design and decoration – is incredibly inspiring.

The architecture and atmosphere provide constant creative energy and our store, with its beautifully curated products, is a space I truly enjoy being in.

What I love most is interacting with clients who bring in such innovative and exciting projects. It’s always a pleasure to introduce them to our brand and collaborate on ideas with them over a coffee.

It’s this personal connection and creative exchange that makes every day so fulfilling.
What do you hope people feel or experience when they spend time in our store?
My priority is for people to feel at home when they step through the door, and to experience the harmony of our collections via the store’s design.

It’s important that customers not only see the quality of our products, but also feel it firsthand. That’s why we encourage them to interact with our products – we’re always happy to provide samples of our finishes to take away and explore further.

If you could choose a favourite product or finish, what would it be and why?
I’m particularly fond of the antique brass finish, especially on the one-gang (single) two-way toggle switch.

It has a warm, elegant feel and pairs beautifully with white or beige walls. It’s subtle, yet sophisticated, making it perfect for both modern and traditional interiors.

I also love the Claremont medium wall light with fluted glass shade. It’s striking in a living room, but I especially adore it in polished nickel in a bathroom.
As we head into autumn and winter, what are you most excited about or inspired by?
It’s one of our busiest times of the year, filled with trade shows and significant customer projects. It’s always an inspiring period of creativity and collaboration!

I’m thrilled about our upcoming products too – our customers are going to love them. The paintable switches and sockets and new pendant lights were a huge hit during their preview at Maison&Objet in September.

But what I’m looking forward to the most in 2025 is the launch of our new range of switches and sockets that fit standard European back boxes. It’s going to be a game-changer for customers.

For those who haven’t visited yet, what would you say to encourage them to experience the store?
What are you waiting for?

On a more serious note, while the photos on our website are excellent, there’s nothing like experiencing the quality in person.

Plus, we’re always here to support you with your projects and answer your questions. We pride ourselves on offering honest advice and ensuring you leave feeling inspired.
Planning a visit to the store? You’ll find a warm welcome waiting at 2 rue de l'Université, 75007 Paris, France.
